| January 25, 2003 Over two hundred members, friends and family attended the Annual Retirement Party of Local 925 that was held at Jimmy's Allenhurst Restaurant in Danvers. Five members were honored for their service to the Department; they included Capt. Dan Strabone, Firefighters Ed Blanchard, Brad Smith, and Phil Tighe and Mike Zuppio. |

A well attended 9-11 Memorial Service was held at Peabody Fire Headquarters at 10:00 a.m. A prayer service along with the transmission of the last alarm signal 5-5-5-5 on the bells was conducted. A collation followed the services. |
