The Endicott Street station was built in 1876. In 1986 the station was closed and replaced with a new station on Prospect Street.
The Endicott Street station was given to the Peabody Historical Society, who dismantled the building board by board, and rebuilt it at its present location at the Felton-Smith Historic Site on Felton Street. It is now the home of the Peabody Historical Fire Museum .
